International Day of Service
Wednesday, July 11, 2007 (967 reads)

The first Lake Forest College International Day of Service was a tremendous success. On Saturday, September 29, 568 students, alumni, faculty, staff, and parents left campus on buses headed for 33 Chicagoland locations, from Waukegan to the Loop and many points in between. Alumni in nine other states (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington, D.C.) and six countries (Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, China, England, and Nepal) also planned events in their areas. Associate Director of Alumni Giving Derek Lambert ’03 tirelessly and successfully coordinated this massive initiative.
