Our Vision

The Lake Forest College Alumni Association is an active and integral part of the broader College community. We unite our global alumni network, the College, and its friends. We create mutually beneficial relationships among all segments of the College community to expand the reputation of Lake Forest College. We enhance the experience of current students, promote their life-long relationships with the College, and foster personal and professional opportunities for alumni.

Lake Forest Alumni wins Gold!

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations has received a prestigious honor that we want to share with the College community. At the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) annual conference in December 2005, Lake Forest College received the Gold Medal Pride of CASE Award for Best Practices in Alumni Relations. The recognition program honors institutions that demonstrate outstanding achievement in the concept and execution of advancement programs and communications.

The Gold Medal in Best Practices is the highest honor for the top category. Categories include a wide range of programming efforts, from specific initiatives such as Excellence in Special Events to overarching Best Practices in Alumni Relations. Schools across the Midwest competed in this program, and winners in other categories include University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Grinnell College, Ohio State, University of Michigan, and Xavier University, to name a few.
